A-1 Koi Order & Shipping Process

At A-1 Koi Ponds & Maintenance Company, every order is carefully handled to protect koi health and ensure a smooth buying experience.

Koi Fish Orders

After you place an order:
• Koi availability and health are verified.
• Smaller koi are moved into a labeled holding tank.
• Larger koi are tagged and reserved as sold.
• Feeding is stopped immediately to ensure safe pickup or shipping.

If a koi becomes unavailable or shows a health concern, we will contact you promptly to discuss options.

Koi Food & Pond Equipment

• Items are pulled and prepared for pickup or shipment.
• If an item is out of stock, we will contact you before proceeding.

Local Pickup

You will be notified once your order is ready.

Shipping Koi Fish

• Select a preferred arrival date at checkout.
• Koi ship one day before arrival via:
• UPS Next Day Air
• UPS Next Day Air Early
• Southwest Air Cargo
• Final health and weather checks are performed on shipping day.
• Tracking is sent once the koi is packed and shipped.

Estimated Arrival Times:

• Next Day Air: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Next Day Air Early: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
• Southwest Air Cargo: Based on flight schedule

Orders shipping on the same day may be combined to reduce shipping costs. Any savings are passed on to the customer.

Shipping Products

• Food and equipment ship via UPS Ground.
• Orders placed before 3:00 PM (business days) typically ship the same day.
• Tracking is provided once shipped.

Important Notes

• Shipping may be delayed or rescheduled due to weather or safety concerns.
• Arrival dates may be changed before shipment.
• We ship within the continental United States only.
